Appliance Removal for the Greater Seattle Area
Getting rid of a fridge is harder than it should be. It’s heavy, curbside won’t take it, and the store that delivered your new one probably wouldn’t take the old one away.
We’ll come get it. Our crew handles appliances from wherever they sit, including second-floor laundry rooms and kitchens with clearances that barely worked in the first place. One thing we need from you: it has to be disconnected before we arrive.

Full Service
Appliances must be disconnected before we arrive. From there the lifting, hauling and recycling are ours.
Old appliances were built to last, which also means they were built heavy. We take them out of the laundry room, the basement, the garage or the kitchen without asking you to get them to the curb first. Doorways, stair turns and galley kitchens are routine work. If it’s a stacked washer-dryer or a built-in unit, say so when you book, because those come out differently.
The one thing we can’t do is disconnect. We don’t touch gas, water or electrical lines, so a plumber, electrician or appliance technician needs to handle that step before we come. Once it’s disconnected and pulled clear of the wall, everything after that is ours.
Anything containing refrigerant, which means fridges, freezers, air conditioners and some dehumidifiers, has to be handled under EPA rules. There’s a per-unit surcharge for those and it’s on our pricing page rather than buried in a footnote. Everything else goes to licensed King County facilities where the metal gets recycled.
Appliance removal is priced by the fraction of the truck you fill. A single fridge takes about an eighth. A washer and dryer together take roughly the same. Our pricing page has the tiers.

No. We don’t touch gas, water or electrical connections. Your appliance needs to be fully disconnected and ideally pulled clear of the wall before we arrive. A licensed plumber, electrician or appliance technician handles that step. Once it’s free, the rest is ours.
Yes. Anything containing refrigerant carries a per-unit surcharge covering EPA-compliant handling of the refrigerant itself. It applies to refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and some dehumidifiers. The amount is on our pricing page and we tell you before we quote, not after.
Usually. Upstairs laundry rooms, basements with narrow stairs and kitchens with awkward clearances are normal for us. Describe the situation when you book so we send enough people. Jobs needing significantly more time or labor may carry an extra charge, which we would tell you about before starting.
Where we can. Appliances are mostly metal, and metal has value, so it gets recycled rather than landfilled wherever the facility supports it. Units containing refrigerants are handled to EPA requirements through licensed King County facilities.
Yes, and tell us if it does. A working appliance in decent condition has a real chance of being donated rather than scrapped and we’ll route it that way if a partner will take it. It doesn’t change your price, only where it ends up.
