Our crew works room by room, removing furniture, appliances, boxes, clothing, and anything else left behind. We sort everything as we go, donating usable items to local organizations like Habitat for Humanity and recycling materials whenever possible. You do not have to sort or organize anything in advance. Just show us what needs to go.
Estate cleanouts vary widely in size and scope. A small apartment clearing might fill a 1/4 load, while a full house cleanout often fills most or all of our truck. We provide an upfront quote before any loading begins, so you always know the cost before we start. For large jobs, we can also coordinate multiple trips if needed.

At Grizzly Junk Removal, we believe in “no-surprises” pricing. We charge based on the fraction of our truck you fill in 1/8th increments. Our rates include labor (up to 2 man-hours), transport, and all standard disposal or recycling fees.

Fantastic experience with Grizzly Junk Removal – I contacted them late on a Saturday and they responded within minutes. Just a bit later and I was booked for the next day. Team showed up promptly, were friendly and quick. Grizzly helped me get rid of inside stuff that was fit for donation as well as old outdoor furniture that was unsafe but didn’t fit in my car to take to a landfill. All done in 18 hours and the final cost was even a bit lower than the initial estimate.

This was our second experience with Grizzly, and it was again a good one. The team removed several items from our soon-to-be sold home in Newcastle, including a big elliptical exercise machine and a bed and box spring. The process Grizzly uses is quite organized, with good communication and pictures being sent in advance, and the price (which is based mostly on the space requirement for the truck) was consistent with our estimate and expectations.

The crew was able to come an hour early to my job. They came ready to work and didn’t shy away at the 3 flights of stairs. Look no further than Mike & Rachel with Grizzly Junk for all your junk hauling needs. Their professionalism, work-ethic and positive attitude are top-notch, and their pricing is very reasonable. We were moving and had accumulated a bunch of random items that we no longer needed at our new home, including a dilapidated couch. I absolutely loathed that couch; it was awkwardly large, I had no idea how to get it out of our basement, and frankly I would have been delighted to light it on fire with a blow torch instead. But Mike & Rachel cooly said “no worries, we’ll take it from here” so I could go about packing/moving other items. Before I knew it, the couch and all our other junk was loaded up and off to be disposed of. We also had a few specialty items that required disposal at a different site and they were very accommodating to make that happen. We sort everything as we haul it out. Usable furniture, household goods, and clothing are donated to local organizations like Habitat for Humanity whenever possible. Materials like metal and electronics are recycled. Only items that cannot be donated or recycled go to a King County disposal facility.
